Black Bean Soup

A traditional Mexican recipe – Mildly flavored. The dish will not fail to warm up your family in less.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups black beans
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • bread croutons (for serving)

Note

A nourishing Mexican soup - mildly flavored.

Directions

Step 1
Soak the black beans for 6 hours. Add 5 cups of water and the tomatoes and garlic. Cook in a pressure cooker and then blend in a mixer. Do not strain the mixture.
Step 2
Heat the butter and fry the onion for 1/2 minute.
Step 3
Add the soup and salt and cook for a few minutes.
Step 4
Top with toast pieces.
Step 5
Serve hot.
