No Yeast Pizza Dough recipe

The name says it all; this is a pizza base recipe made without yeast. It comes out to be as good as the base made using yeast. Suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups unbleached flour
  • 2 cups soymilk
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • 5 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • rosemary and thyme

Note

Pizza base prepared with no yeast; ideal for both vegetarians and vegans.

Directions

Step 1
Mix baking powder, salt, sesame seeds, rosemary, thyme with the flour
Step 2
Slowly
add the soy milk and oil until you feel the consistency is right.
Step 3
Knead for about 10
minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes and then use a roller to flatten it up.
Step 4
Oil the pizza
pan, before placing dough.
Step 5
Place in oven at
350F for 20 minutes, or until bottom part is light brown.
Step 6
Once cooked you can place some cooked or raw vegetables on it, sprinkle some tofu
marinated in tomatoe sauce and then stick it back into the oven for 10 more minutes.
