Sesame Potato Fingers

A delicious snack, quick and easy to cook; suitable for all events. 

Sesame Potato Fingers

  • 2 potato(es) boiled and grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tomato finely chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 bread slices
  • 4 tablespoons grated cheese (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds


Quick and easy to cook, yet delicious!


Step 1
Take a mixing bowl and mix the first 8 ingredients.
Step 2
Divide this mixture into 4 portions.
Step 3
Spread each portion on a slice of bread and press well.
Step 4
Sprinkle grated cheese (optional) and sesame seeds on each slice.
Step 5
Grill in an oven for about 5 minutes or till the bread slices are toasted crisp. You can also deep fry the slices instead of toasting and then cut into fingers.
Step 6
Cut each slice into fingers.
Step 7
Serve hot.
