3 B Stir-fry

This healthy diabetic recipe is overflowing with nutrirents from 3 bs – baby corn, broccoli and bean sprouts. This dish is sure to won on all ocassions. A must try!

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped green chillies
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 11/2 cups blanched broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup sliced and blanched baby corn
  • 2 teaspoons tomato ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste
  • a pinch sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornflour
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock


This recipe is extremly good for diabetics and is rich in goodness of bean sprouts, broccoli and baby corn.


Step 1
Mix cornflour and vegetable stock.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai, add the green chillies and garlic and sauté on a high flame till the onions turn translucent, while stirring continuously.
Step 3
Add the broccoli, bean sprouts, baby corn, salt, pepper and sugar, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for a minute, while stirring continuously.
Step 4
Add the cornflour paste and vegetable stock mixture, mix gently and cook on a high flame, while stirring continuously till the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables and bean sprouts evenly.
Step 5
Add the tomato ketchup, vinegar and soya sauce and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 6
Serve hot.
